El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trocha Media FC the free kick. The supporters of Trocha Media FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trocha Media FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siro Orti in the 10th minute. The corner ended in Siro Orti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita did a great save. After 13 minutes, Marco Tamayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Trocha Media FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florentino Llin had several of the El Salvador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ricardo Zorita as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Trocha Media FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Siro Orti. Joshua Curbelo's late challenge caught a Trocha Media FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joshua Curbelo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Joshua Curbelo hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Olgierd Zacharczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, El Salvador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eliseo Rufio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 36th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Florentino Llin scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Rufio got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliseo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jacobo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Rufio in the 58th minute of play. Trocha Media FC's Silvestre Hustaz was substituted for Olgierd Zacharczyk. Eliseo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luis Rubio hit a great ball. Trocha Media FC's Eliseo Rufio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesus Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesus Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Carvallo. When Eliseo Rufio came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Trocha Media FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Rufio couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Trocha Media FC's Florentino Llin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Trocha Media FC's Florentino Llin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. Siro Orti succeeded in the game's 80th minute to get real power on a long shot . El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 4-0! After 84 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Valentino Ferrant. After 86 minutes of play El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Salvador! Eliseo Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Trocha Media FC's Eliseo Rufio. But to his dismay, Eliseo Rufio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. El Salvador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
