Jardel Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nino Galfrè made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Achille Di Crescenzo. 21 minutes into the game, Nestor Leão threw the ball into play from the sideline. Herta Budino's Nino Galfrè quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fortunato Sangermano made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Pipis Karapatakis sent off a good shot on target. Fortunato Sangermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 24th minute of play. Davide Rinaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Sanches having to interfere. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Sangermano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Nestor Leão made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Herta Budino's Nino Galfrè. Herta Budino's attentive Jan-Frederik Bubanja managed to snatch the ball when Nestor Leão made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. With a little luck, Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano got control of the ball when Pipis Karapatakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jardel Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Rinaldi got free with Jardel Sanches in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio FBPA from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Herta Budino's Kleanthis Zoumakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jardel Sanches. That made the score 3-2 after 91 minutes of play. Virgílio Furtado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Jardel Sanches when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Grêmio FBPA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
