Ronny Tiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Cunha in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, SELEVASCO's Patrick Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronny Tiger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronny Tiger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Cunha's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. SELEVASCO's Nico Pizzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Kallstrøm in the 26th minute of play. Isaac Wållander kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ronny Tiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cãtãlin Hâldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when SELEVASCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Patrick Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Ronny Tiger however easily saved by the left post. Nico Pizzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Kallstrøm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Xavier Van Dijk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronny Tiger made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Cãtãlin Hâldan sent off a good shot on target. Nico Pizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Buhrmann in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Vännäsby BF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Mario Buhrmann hit a great ball. Vännäsby BF made a substitution. Emanuel Martinsson replaced Hilario Chus. After a rather tough play, Vännäsby BF's Mario Buhrmann got a free kick in the 66th minute. Vännäsby BF's Ronny Tiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Vännäsby BF from getting a goal against them. In the 85th of the match, Renato Paraíba tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ronny Tiger got in the way and made a wonderful save. 90 minutes into the game, Renato Paraíba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ronny Tiger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Vännäsby BF getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Sven Kilström hit a great ball. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Mario Buhrmann in Vännäsby BF was the one to initiate the kick off. Cãtãlin Hâldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Ronny Tiger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 102 minutes into the match, SELEVASCO's goalkeeper Nico Pizzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Kallstrøm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Paraíba in the 111th minute of play forced Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Ronny Tiger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 114th minute Cãtãlin Hâldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Tiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 2-2. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

After a rather tough play, SELEVASCO's Xavier Van Dijk got a free kick in the 117th minute. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

The referee gave SELEVASCO a penalty, 136 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cãtãlin Hâldan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vännäsby BF's Ronny Tiger. 2-3. In the 137th minute, the referee gave Vännäsby BF a penalty. Kim Kallstrøm looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Nico Pizzi. In the 139th minute there was a penalty for SELEVASCO. Patrick Cunha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ronny Tiger. 3-4. When the match had been going on for 140 minutes, Vännäsby BF's King Elin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nico Pizzi. Nico Pizzi had in the 143rdth minute some difficulties stopping Alf Nyman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
