An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 40th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Leo Dieguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Dieguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Dieguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Murillo Larios kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Porteño Prowess FC's Parisi Breton got a free kick in the 50th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Leo Dieguez made a huge save. Parisi Breton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Porteño Prowess FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Agustín Saelices scored to the left of an out of position Leo Dieguez, making the score, 0-4. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Dieguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Dieguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dieguez having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leo Dieguez came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 79th minute.
