In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 14 minutes of play, Kernsdorf SSA's José Guerreiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Espinar during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zygmunt Pieknik during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The corner led Kernsdorf SSA's Damazy Gomolka to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Piotr Topolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kernsdorf SSA's Carlos Alberto Guedes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, José Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Carlos Alberto Guedes made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Zygmunt Pieknik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60thth minute of the game Zygmunt Pieknik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If José Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kernsdorf SSA's Filip Pietrowski was substituted for Antoni Betonowy. Kernsdorf SSA's Sjors van Ankeren was substituted for José Guerreiro. After 84 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kernsdorf SSA's attentive Konstanty Major managed to snatch the ball when Valentín Carvallo made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Kernsdorf SSA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damazy Gomolka in the 92nd minute. Milagros Cabal tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Lautaro Navarro. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Kernsdorf SSA's Primitivo Orozco got a free kick in the 96th minute. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Piotr Topolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras.
