Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Miljeteig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daustad's Christian Miljeteig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Daustad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Øyvind Stokland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Daustad defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Miljeteig. The Daustad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Miljeteig should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Miljeteig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Miljeteig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Øyvind Stokland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Miljeteig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Ose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Christian Miljeteig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Miljeteig came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Miljeteig having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Christian Miljeteig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Daustad's Christian Miljeteig got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Miljeteig having to interfere. Daniel Zorita succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Christian Miljeteig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
