Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roy Huston took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edmundo Espiga sped through C. A. Independiente's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristobal Fox. Cristobal Fox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cristobal Fox. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Larry Washburn, made in the 24th minute of the game. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Fox having to interfere. Cristobal Fox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 33rd minute of the match. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. After 40 minutes of play, Honduras's Moises Tafalla made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Fox was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Cristobal Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bryce Ulrich hit a great ball. Cristobal Fox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. C. A. Independiente's Brady Hooks got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. The throw-in from Larry Washburn in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Milagros Cabal. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cristobal Fox didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 59 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Fox made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. A sloppy throw-in by Larry Washburn in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. In the 64th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's Brady Hooks broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 68 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristobal Fox. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. With a little luck, C. A. Independiente's Cristobal Fox got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmundo Espiga in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristobal Fox, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 74th play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Cristobal Fox and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 76th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Cristobal Fox didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. C. A. Independiente's Cristobal Fox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes C. A. Independiente's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Honduras's Christian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristobal Fox despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 84th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 88 minutes, Sebastian Villa made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. C. A. Independiente's Cristobal Fox tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Larry Washburn in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Milagros Cabal. Rafael Flynn kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
