Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Luis Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bolivar's Bruno Secco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Afiz Ching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Ching having to interfere. In the 11thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivar's Afiz Ching was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Bolivar's Tedj Sellal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afiz Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedj Sellal in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afiz Ching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Bolivar's Tedj Sellal in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Ching saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Pasquino hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Afiz Ching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Senijad Ibričić to strike the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tedj Sellal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Bolivar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Pasquino to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bolivar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bruno Pasquino hit a great ball. Brett Cordrey hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Tedj Sellal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Senijad Ibričić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brett Cordrey during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
