Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Remo Goiano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Jurdan in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Goiano in the 7th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Gonzalo Jurdan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gonzalo Jurdan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Remo Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remo Goiano in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Remo Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Piracicaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Remo Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Murillo Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XV de Piracicaba and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Trigo. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Patrick Leite hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fonso Zotillo skillfully saved the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Montoia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Goiano in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Montoia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fonso Zotillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Goiano in the 45th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Montoia in the 46th minute of the match. XV de Piracicaba's Remo Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fábio Montoia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Fábio Montoia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Fábio Montoia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fonso Zotillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Remo Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Montoia in the 70th minute of play. When Jose Correa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. XV de Piracicaba made a substitution. Haruna Hassan replaced Remo Goiano. In the 73rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fonso Zotillo having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 91 minutes into the match, Haruna Hassan notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haruna Hassan took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
