Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Ching. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Senijad Ibričić in the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Senijad Ibričić tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivar's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afiz Ching came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tedj Sellal went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Senijad Ibričić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Secco scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Senijad Ibričićs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 40th minute. Afiz Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 44th minute of the match. Bolivar's Tedj Sellal got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Senijad Ibričić made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tedj Sellal, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Gaos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Gaos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! 56 minutes into the game, Bolivar's Hemza Aliche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Cordrey in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bolivar getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bruno Secco hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivar's Tedj Sellal. But to his dismay, Tedj Sellal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senijad Ibričić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Afiz Ching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Bolivar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tedj Sellal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bolivar booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Bolivar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
