Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match A.S. Udinese got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristiano Paolucci ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led A.S. Udinese's Cristiano Paolucci to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Bottone in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Cristiano Paolucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 27th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alvaro Rotili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexander Bottone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute A.S. Udinese were awarded a corner. Cristiano Paolucci went to the cornerflag to take it. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Rotili having to interfere. Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Alvaro Rotili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. The supporters of A.S. Udinese booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abram Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Rotili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Bottone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Bottone in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A.S. Udinese's Bruno Maranzano was substituted for Alexander Damiani. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colombia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! The referee gave A.S. Udinese a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ercole Fiorentino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. 3-1. 75 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's Ercole Fiorentino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Clemente was slow to take the kick. During this time A.S. Udinese's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Colombia's goalie and right to Alessio Zoccali. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Colombia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 78th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Mastache to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Colombia booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Maranzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.S. Udinese's attentive Alessio Zoccali managed to snatch the ball when Orlando Tafalla made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. After 92 minutes of play, A.S. Udinese's Ercole Fiorentino made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.S. Udinese fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
