The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Fortunato Montini made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd match minute, GG Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Alfani to maneuver through the defense. GG Team FC made a substitution. Elia Guerini replaced Bianco Zarillo. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fortunato Montini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Scandella's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. At last the ball reached Cristian Sancho at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of GG Team FC. 2-1. After having played for 85 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fortunato Montini, 2-2. GG Team FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
