Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Runar Flou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Thøstrup in the 17th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Runar Flou in the 21st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Injuries's Mads Aarum in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Injuries's Bobbi Sagi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 40th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mads Aarum, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Detlef Sonne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Injuries's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Injuries was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Detlef Sonne to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Mads Aarum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mads Aarum struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Injuries. Injuries's Muhammad Schiffmann was substituted for Kong Xiong Bang. In a very dangerous position, a player in Injuries fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Bobbi Sagi had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Flou in the 69th minute of play. Bobbi Sagi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Runar Flou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Frode Bygebjerg took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Injuries's Bobbi Sagi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Injuries from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Injuries's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Bobbi Sagi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bobbi Sagi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frode Bygebjerg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Injuries were awarded a corner. Muhammad Schiffmann went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Muhammad Schiffmann almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. The Injuries support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
