Fermin Savion ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5th minute Fermin Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Savion went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Cafu Lenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fermin Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fermin Savion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Fermin Savion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Savion came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joshua Curbelo during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Konstanty Koczara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 93 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Koczara came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
