Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅明誉 in the 14th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 陆亦然 kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 刘弘军 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 严泉洲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 严泉洲 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when 傅明誉 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-0. If 何迅晨 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 傅明誉 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 严泉洲 to strike the kick off in the second half. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 68th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 傅明誉 couldn't finish the play.
