Theo Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anderson Zonta got free with Rolando Noboa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Peru booed when Λstral Villains FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Trzemzalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Ahmad Okhumeode Krychowiak made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Theo Machado came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theo Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Anderson Zonta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Peru booed when Λstral Villains FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Theo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. After 67 minutes, Amancio Fitriansyah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Λstral Villains FC and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Λstral Villains FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Fitriansyah. Λstral Villains FC's Stian Alvær was substituted for Peder Solevåg. A collision led to Λstral Villains FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Amancio Fitriansyah hit a great ball. After 73 minutes, Anthony Alvarado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peru and the Λstral Villains FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Peru's Theo Machado threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso.
