Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Cássio Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Olivedos's Abel de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Olivedos fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Olivedos's Cássio Ferraz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Tony Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Tony Schmidt with Luisinho Ceresso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Olivedos booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Olivedos's Rômulo Custódio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. After 43 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Veiga. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cássio Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Abelardo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Olivedos booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Abel de Godoi sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Olivedos were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisinho Ceresso took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Luís Novaes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel de Godoi took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Abel de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Abel de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 91st minute, Tomas Illescas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abelardo Maranhense, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Ferraz during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Ferraz. There was no doubt that Olivedos were the better team. Olivedos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
