Tor Echegoyen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jenson Smith took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tor Echegoyen. Tor Echegoyen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marco Day didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Momentum FC's Ismael Furlan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Azibar in the 26th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Baladi to maneuver through the defense. Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 56th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Tor Echegoyen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Momentum FC's Tor Echegoyen got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA played a much better game than Momentum FC and deserved their victory. The Momentum FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
