The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pryaporets's Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein did a great save. After a rather tough play, Pryaporets's Ye Jian Fan got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Petruț Boaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Pryaporets's Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. 黄振 in the 32nd minute of the match. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Boaru in the 38th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Song Di Xu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. A sloppy throw-in by Alonso Berganza in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pryaporets's Mugur Nițisor. In the 73rdth minute of the game Song Di Xu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Mugur Nițisor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Candakausika von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pryaporets booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
