The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Camilo Sexto notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. When the referee blew the final whistle, Don Malbec could leave the field as winners, despite Uruguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
