Cyryl Cichocki kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Ikalewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee showed Francisco Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sandecja booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Sandecja got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Cichocki. In the 19th minute, Jaime Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grzegorz Ikalewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Soter in the 24th minute. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Sandecja's Arsenio Soter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelino Cucao scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Ikalewicz having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Arsenio Soter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyryl Cichocki was the one to do the kick off. Arsenio Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Escribano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grzegorz Ikalewicz having to make a save. Grzegorz Ikalewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 59th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Soter in the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Camilo Franco could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Grzegorz Ikalewicz however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 71st minute of play forced Sandecja's goalkeeper Grzegorz Ikalewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sandecja getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Zygmunt Bucyki hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. Sandecja made a substitution.
