Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Camilo Sexto kicked off to start the match. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Ted Lasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Basilio Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 15th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ted Lasso sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Lasso got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Nahia in the 22nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Camilo Sexto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Don Malbec's goalkeeper Basilio Sauveur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Isidoro Sarmiento from a close distance when the talented Basilio Sauveur managed to make a qualified save. Don Malbec's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Sexto in the 57th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Nahia's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Nahia helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Nahia kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Basilio Sauveur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 59th minute. Basilio Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes Don Malbec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Don Malbec's Basilio Sauveur managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Don Malbec booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. In the 68th match minute, Don Malbec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Black Black to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Sauveur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. When Felix Nahia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Basilio Sauveur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Don Malbec's Elmas Veloz got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Ted Lasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Ted Lasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Lasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Don Malbec.
