If Robby Woody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute, Robby Woody ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robby Woody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by La Academia's Robby Woody. But to his dismay, Robby Woody quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, La Academia's Maxín Bacarreza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Robby Woody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robby Woody's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Robby Woody managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Academia's supporters rose to their feet, but Robby Woody was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robby Woody in the 33rd minute. If Francisco Alberto Zañartu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Robby Woody stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Robby Woody tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Robby Woody lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robby Woody in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Robby Woody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robby Woody in the 52nd minute of play. Robby Woody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Alberto Zañartu in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Alberto Zañartu in the 60th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Iker Tafalla hit a great ball. After 67 minutes of play, La Academia's Robby Woody made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Robby Woody left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Academia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When Robby Woody came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the La Academia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robby Woody couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robby Woody's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Robby Woody came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the La Academia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robby Woody couldn't finish the play.
