Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 3rd minute, Fabien Canu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunar Park fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 6th minute, Fabien Canu made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fabien Canu might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabien Canu ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabien Canu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Fabien Canu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fabien Canu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 18th playminute. 22 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Fabien Canu scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 5-0. After 27 played minutes Claude Ciron rounded Costa Rica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 6-0. 31 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Fabien Canu scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 7-0. Fabien Canu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Fabien Canu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Fabien Canu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabien Canu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Fabien Canu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Fabien Canu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Fabien Canu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fabien Canu came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Lunar Park fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabien Canu couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Fabien Canu sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Fabien Canu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cedric Van Langhendoncx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Claude Ciron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunar Park's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Ciron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Lunar Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yazid Larnicol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lunar Park's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
