Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Michal Gerlach made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Zawada in the 5th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Guidetti got free with Benito Sanz in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Gerlach in the 13th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by PKS Marymont Warszawa's John Guidetti. But to his dismay, John Guidetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Dominik Zawada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Michal Gerlach took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Guidetti in the 24th minute. If John Guidetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led PKS Marymont Warszawa's Téo Queiroz to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as John Guidetti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, PKS Marymont Warszawa's John Guidetti made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of PKS Marymont Warszawa booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when John Guidetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Téo Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PKS Marymont Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Michal Gerlach might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michal Gerlach ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Gerlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play, PKS Marymont Warszawa's Freddy Mondorf made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! PKS Marymont Warszawa's Lucjan Huchro was substituted for Bastian Marin. 77 minutes into the game, PKS Marymont Warszawa's John Guidetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Mondorf went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the game, Michal Gerlach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Téo Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Guidetti in the 88th minute of play. Téo Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Dominik Zawada kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PKS Marymont Warszawa fully deserved thier win.
