Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Miau Stars's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulkadir Eraslan came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdulkadir Eraslan saved Miau Stars from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Fenomeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Fenomeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ronaldo Fenomeno sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute Ronaldo Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Knutsson to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Fenomeno was the one to do the kick off. Egídio I tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Abdulkadir Eraslan. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Fenomeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Miau Stars's Wim Zuidam was substituted for Marco Veremundo. In the 73rd minute, Vidar Jespersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Abdulkadir Eraslan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arlindo Queiroz who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Flavinho Sousa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho Sousa took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ronaldo Fenomeno struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miau Stars. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 96th minute of play. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Miau Stars had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
