Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Canal made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Josu Pabon. After 7 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. Andrei Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. The goalkeeper, Lautaro Navarro, was totally fooled by Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Antonio Recio, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Josu Pabon fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo O IRIXO's protests and gave Josu Pabon a yellow card for diving instead. Fermín Trujillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Amador Rivas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Claudio Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Recio got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Josu Pabon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrei Gil was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez in the 54th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Tafalla during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Gil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the game Mariano Canal made a throw-in which Fermín Trujillo played forward. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Andrei Gil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Canal made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Gil in the 81st minute of play. Josu Pabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Antonio Recio charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Recio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Antonio Recio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. Andrei Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
