Kyle Davies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Lucila having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Norberto Sedeni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norberto Sedeni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Norberto Sedeni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. The supporters of Curacao booed when Pretorianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Sedeni in the 25th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Davies in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Lucila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Norberto Sedeni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Sedeni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
