Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Baia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guido Vissenaeken scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Will Deman in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. 26 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brugge United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vítor Baia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Colombia booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Deman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Will Deman made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. In the 44th play minute Guido Vissenaeken came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Arnauld Van Impe made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 55th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 56 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Vítor Baia managed to make a qualified save. Brugge United's players were relieved. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Vítor Baia made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnauld Van Impe in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. In the 67th minute Brugge United were awarded a corner. Jaspar Van Den Broeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Brugge United's Vítor Baia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Brugge United from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Arnauld Van Impe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. After 85th play minutes Arnauld Van Impe shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 90th minute, Will Deman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Vítor Baia made a huge save. Luis Cazalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Baia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Arnauld Van Impe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brugge United had played much better football throughout.
