Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Guido Vissenaeken scored to the left of an out of position Thiago Pliego, making the score, 1-0. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Guido Vissenaeken sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Vítor Baia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Sandro Gaúcho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Vissenaeken got free with Thiago Pliego in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Laurențiu Roşculeţ who took care of the corner kick. Sandro Gaúcho made a great header on Brugge United's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. When Guido Vissenaeken came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Vissenaeken couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Baia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, one of Chile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chile. Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Jaspar Van Den Broeck:s penalty. Guido Vissenaeken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Garrido made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brugge United's Herbert Pietrowicz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Vissenaeken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 53rd minute of play. Brugge United made a substitution. Waud Huijbrechts replaced Jaspar Van Den Broeck. Laurențiu Roşculeţ kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vítor Baia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brugge United's attentive Herbert Pietrowicz managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. With a little luck, Brugge United's Vítor Baia got control of the ball when Pedro Indiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guido Vissenaeken took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mariano Lacasa let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 82nd minute shot 3-2 at rihgt post. Felix Garrido hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chile booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Brugge United could leave the field as winners, despite Chile having more of the ball for most of the match.
