Big Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Rouco in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Big Hands was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lakis Kaminaris kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohieddine Ayari made a kick off. The supporters of Mexico booed when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakis Kaminaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Luca Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Big Hands, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Big Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Big Hands firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Luisinho Xande fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Luisinho Xande a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Luisinho Xande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dorotheos Kakatsios struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB throughout the match.
