Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexander Carballo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Costa Rica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexander Carballo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Benito Sanz, was totally fooled by LA DEL MONO's Rigoberto Cordareo, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 9th minute, Humberto Leocadio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. In the 19th minute, LA DEL MONO got a penalty, and Rigoberto Cordareo placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. With an all-out effort, LA DEL MONO's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Humberto Leocadio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rigoberto Cordareo. 28 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Leocadio came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Botello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Higinio Botello slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 31st minute. In the 34th match minute, LA DEL MONO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zhuo Sha Le hit a great ball. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 37th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Leocadio in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 42nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Leocadios short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Leocadio was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas Cheche scored 5-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Nicolas Cheche sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The audience was convinced that Humberto Leocadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Fabio Betadur in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Leocadio came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Leocadio in the 75th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the LA DEL MONO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 91st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Botello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the LA DEL MONO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
