The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clive Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Toli in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, A.A.Estudiantes Río IV's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Szarmach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andy Gimm. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Kemen in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clive Holloway prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, A.A.Estudiantes Río IV's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Gimm came free, but Zdzislaw Szarmach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Eleuterio Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Holloway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, 狄亦渊 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A.Estudiantes Río IV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Zdzislaw Szarmach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Jie Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zdzislaw Szarmach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Jie Xing in the 40th minute of the match. Andy Gimm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Szarmach made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Jie Xing in the 53rd minute of play forced A.A.Estudiantes Río IV's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Szarmach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Kemen came free, but Clive Holloway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Yu Jie Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A.A.Estudiantes Río IV were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Staffordshire Terrier FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 狄亦渊 took the corner. The corner ended in Eleuterio Dominguez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Staffordshire Terrier FC's Clive Holloway did a great save. In the 72ndth minute of the game Alex Zanardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A.Estudiantes Río IV's Zdzislaw Szarmach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zdzislaw Szarmach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Jie Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Staffordshire Terrier FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Brice Gamble hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Staffordshire Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Brice Gamble. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eleuterio Kemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A.Estudiantes Río IV's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Kemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clive Holloway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, 狄亦渊 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clive Holloway. The goal made the score 2-2. The throw-in from 邱雄霆 in the 98th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.A.Estudiantes Río IV's 谢建震. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
