The supporters of Altos Gatos FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Altos Gatos FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Kiliz came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Corderun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Javier Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Javier Santo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Javier Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Javier Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Javier Santo was slow to take the kick. During this time Altos Gatos FC's players had a chance to rest. If Óscar Ruggieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Altos Gatos FC's Javier Santo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Altos Gatos FC's Faustino Orlo got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. A collision led to Altos Gatos FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Faustino Orlo hit a great ball. Javier Santo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altos Gatos FC. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Santo in the 58th minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Altos Gatos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Corderun came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Abancens came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Justino Corderun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Abancens in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Carolo Abancens sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Altos Gatos FC had played much better football throughout.
