Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Marcos Lama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Veth Crystals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Lama quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Veth Crystals's Iwan Zieba got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Topolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Patora came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gwidon Patora came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Veth Crystals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwidon Patora couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Lama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Persson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Lama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Veth Crystals getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Iwan Zieba hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Persson in the 45th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Lama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Lama. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, He Lin Di hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Persson took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Mexico booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Marcos Lama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veth Crystals's Nedas Jameikis was substituted for Alejandro Bullon. Veth Crystals's Sebastian Wierzchowski was substituted for He Lin Di. The supporters of Mexico booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofil Walczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Lama was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joel Gaona. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Marcos Lama threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcos Lama had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Joel Gaona from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Veth Crystals were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
