When Ciro Fata came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Valla Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Fata couldn't finish the play. Niklas Isaksson charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niklas Isaksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. Antoine Lovera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Niklas Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valla Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Antoine Lovera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Valla Fc's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoine Lovera came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Fata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Töpfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Peter Töpfer made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoine Lovera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Isaksson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Valla Fc's Peter Töpfer in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Ivar Kalland in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Antoine Lovera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoine Lovera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Lovera having to interfere. Niklas Isaksson struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valla Fc. The audience was convinced that Niklas Isaksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
