Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Wawrzyniec Lewandowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. After 6 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Skaradoski. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Gerrard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Blažej Ravanelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aigeus Milionis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hahay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aigeus Milionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blažej Ravanelli in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aigeus Milionis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Iwan Skaradoski kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Aigeus Milionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aigeus Milionis. Hahay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Hahay's Segundo Videl was substituted for Iwan Skaradoski. 71 minutes into the match, Hahay's goalkeeper Aigeus Milionis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 74 minutes into the match, Blažej Ravanelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blažej Ravanelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Hahay made a substitution. Delmar Berenguer replaced Blažej Ravanelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Berenguer in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Berenguer's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Delmar Berenguer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Delmar Berenguer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Wawrzyniec Lewandowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Aigeus Milionis in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
