Alex Cambeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Cambeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 94th minute of the match Eufemio Ehijo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
