A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Blomqvist went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Baladi Ribalta hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Christoffer Blomqvist took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Christoffer Blomqvist sent off a good shot on target. 3-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Christoffer Blomqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Christoffer Blomqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christoffer Blomqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Christoffer Blomqvist notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 32nd minute of play. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 41st minute. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Christoffer Blomqvist took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Panama were furious when Dylan Sarmiento was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Panama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MILLONARIOS FC:s goal. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Angelo Prior made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christoffer Blomqvist in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When MILLONARIOS FC's Baladi Ribalta, in the 65th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for MILLONARIOS FC. 74 minutes into the match, Kepa Barajo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MILLONARIOS FC's Roberto Quicedo was substituted for Svenn Matzke. MILLONARIOS FC made a substitution. Juan Corredor replaced Rafael Jauregui. Christoffer Blomqvist scored 8-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kepa Barajo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match MILLONARIOS FC got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baladi Ribalta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Juan Corredor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Corredor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
