In the 14th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Ksiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Ksiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iakovos Ksiros came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Luca Espinar. But to his dismay, Luca Espinar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Kolopetinitsa's Iakovos Ksiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iakovos Ksiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 32nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Ksiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Kolopetinitsa's Iakovos Ksiros. Iakovos Ksiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kolopetinitsa's Iakovos Ksiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kolopetinitsa's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iakovos Ksiros came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kolopetinitsa the free kick. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Argyris Kountouriotis made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. A hard shot by Edmundo Espiga from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Iakovos Ksiros's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Kolopetinitsa defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iakovos Ksiros. The Kolopetinitsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iakovos Ksiros should have stopped the shot. Iakovos Ksiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute of the match. Iakovos Ksiros made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Sebastian Villa sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Iakovos Ksiros managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Ksiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kolopetinitsa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
