The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillaume Chaine to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrien Tanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute Rafail Rusev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rafail Rusev came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Adrien Tanneau however easily saved by the left post. After 68 minutes Valette Stars's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Adrien Tanneau came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrien Tanneau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Luca Zorita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Guillaume Chaine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Walme to maneuver through the defense.
