Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nedim Emekli took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Mean Machine's Miltos Makris in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Mean Machine's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menios Chloros came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Mean Machine's Menios Chloros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Menios Chloros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nedim Emekli came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Menios Chloros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Nedim Emekli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mean Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedim Emekli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27thth minute of the game Carles Pujol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nedim Emekli. In the 32nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedim Emekli in the 53rd minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carles Pujol in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Carles Pujol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedim Emekli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miltos Makris to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mean Machine's Nikos Kioupouroglou was substituted for Miltos Makris. Mean Machine made a substitution. Agnaldo Braga replaced Archibaldo Peñaranda. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. In the 64th minute of the match Nikos Stasinos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedim Emekli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Camilo Gisbert in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mean Machine's Daniil Bonoris. Nedim Emekli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedim Emekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Camilo Gisbert made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. Menios Chloros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. A hard shot 79 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Menios Chloros managed to make a qualified save. Mean Machine's players were relieved. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedim Emekli in the 81st minute of play. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goalkeeper Menios Chloros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. If Nedim Emekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
