Dedé Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ were awarded a corner. Özbek Heper went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Kartal Yaruk advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 12th minute. In the 19th minute, Zikri Palabıyık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dedé Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Pettersson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedé Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's Alberto-Federico Acosta was substituted for Daniel Pancu. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Izydor Smolak might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izydor Smolak ran back to his position shaking his head. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Smolak in the 62nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto-Federico Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dedé Alves made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A collision led to YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zikri Palabıyık hit a great ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Özbek Heper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YERSIYAHGOKBEYAZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özbek Heper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Alves having to interfere.
