The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Negri to make the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Legzdins was slow to take the kick. During this time Korona Kielce's players had a chance to rest. Raimo Ülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Edwards in the 90th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Canada's Raimo Ülend threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Theo Burton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded Canada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Korona Kielce.
