Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Sapalidis came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Rollins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 5th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Rollins having to interfere. Ernie Dixon scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Roman Rollins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 16th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Rollins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Wilfred Holley got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Rollins saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Tomas Berganza put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roman Rollins. In the 20th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Roman Rollins. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Roman Rollins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Roman Rollins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tyrone Marrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. In the 36th minute of the match Boca Juniors got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rich Jean ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Tyrone Marrero at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Panama. 2-2. Tristan Mansfield's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristan Mansfield helped the player get up and apologised. Tristan Mansfield kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Brian Herget got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernie Dixon made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Panama's Alex Cambeiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alex Cambeiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Panama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alex Cambeiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 54th minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tyrone Marrero went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Roman Rollins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Neil Kemp replaced Ernie Dixon. Roman Rollins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Cyryl Karpinski replaced Tyrone Marrero. Jason Stuart hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 94th minute. The corner led to Panama's Tomas Berganza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Rollins having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boca Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
