A collision led to Hexo Utd getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Anders Stenström hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mar Cheze in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Limont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hexo Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Klack didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Max Limont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Max Limont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Paulius Rožėnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. In the 46th minute, Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0.

Hexo Utd made a substitution. Vytautas Baikštys replaced Adolfo Brandão. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulius Rožėnas was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Limont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 56 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Max Limont managed to make a qualified save. Hexo Utd's players were relieved. Hexo Utd's Max Limont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hexo Utd defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Limont. The Hexo Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Limont should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Max Limont firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Mar Cheze sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Hexo Utd's Max Limont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes Hexo Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Hexo Utd made a substitution. Gražvydas Drąsutis hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Vytautas Baikštys came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 84th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulius Rožėnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulius Rožėnas in the 96th minute of play.
