The supporters of Venezuela booed when The Heren Istarion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khamzat Chimaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Chicote made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Patricio Costa. Khamzat Chimaev took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elberg Azov in the 21st minute of play. It was a well-played corner which A.J. De Cat managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in The Heren Istarion's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukas Drewitz came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a The Heren Istarion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elberg Azov in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Elberg Azov scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When Elberg Azov got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for The Heren Istarion.

A hard shot 53 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Lukas Drewitz managed to make a qualified save. The Heren Istarion's players were relieved. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The Heren Istarion's Torbjörn Josefsson was substituted for Khamzat Chimaev. The Heren Istarion's Christopher Öberg was substituted for Elberg Azov. In the 61st minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christopher Öberg's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Oliver Åberg made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Torbjörn Josefsson however managed to control. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Öberg in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Heren Istarion.
