Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tyrone Marrero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rich Jean. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Tyrone Marrero sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Tyrone Marrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 13th minute Tyrone Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th play minute Vitinho Diniz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 2-0. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Rollins having to interfere. Tristan Mansfield kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitinho Diniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Marrero in the 26th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Tyrone Marrero took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Vitinho Diniz in the 36thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Benito Sanz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Thanos Sapalidis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 39th playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tristan Mansfield during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Mansfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Tyrone Marrero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Tyrone Marrero. But to his dismay, Tyrone Marrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rich Jean in the 58th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Wilfred Holley notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Neil Kemp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Boca Juniors's Tristan Mansfield got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Tristan Mansfield off the ground. Tristan Mansfield kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrone Marrero in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Neil Kemp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neil Kemp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Jason Stuart replaced Thanos Sapalidis. When Boca Juniors's Cyryl Karpinski in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Karpinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyryl Karpinski's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
