Larkins Potter ran back to his position shaking his head. Larkins Potter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. A collision led to Wara getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Zdenek Klíma hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Cheb El-Hadi's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 83rdth minute of the game Faouzi Louahla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cheb El-Hadi was slow to take the kick. During this time Wara's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Wara's Cheb El-Hadi to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larkins Potter in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkins Potter in the 92nd minute of play.
