Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jan Haase started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Haase showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Jan Haase could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Bucher came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Leon Bucher notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Gerrit Dohr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 26th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Dohr to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jan Haase sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by International Thunders's Jan Haase. But to his dismay, Jan Haase quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Jan Haase left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Leon Bucher put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Bucher's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes of play, International Thunders's Jan Haase made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the game, Leon Bucher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerrit Dohr struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for International Thunders. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Gerrit Dohr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Gerrit Dohr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Dohr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Jan Haase sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Bucher in the 84th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 85th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Thorsten Ternes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Aaron Alcocer heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 87 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorsten Ternes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Bucher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Haase in the 94th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Bucher in the 95th minute of play. International Thunders walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
